Even having your tyres are only a little underinflated it has the potential to increase your fuel consumption by about 5%. This means that maintaining perfect pressure can actually save you money.
4. Handling
Under-inflated tyres can increase stopping distances by up to 8m, this only increases when it comes to heavier vehicles and even more so when faced with in bad weather. Maintaining perfect pressure can also improve your handling, braking and turning.
