- Tyres-Tips/Guides
While the country won't be getting ready to enjoy their weekends for some time while we're in lock down, you'll still need to go out for food and essential supplies. So if you're unlucky enough to get stuck with a flat tyre, you're in luck because this easy video guide makes it a cinch.
Need to go out and get food supplies, but oh... flat tyre! Don’t worry, changing a tyre is not difficult.
What you need
- Gloves
- Wrench
- Spanner
- Lifting jack
- Warning triangle
Instructions
Firstly, make sure you are in a safe and flat spot. If you’ll be changing the tyre outside on the road, remember to put out your warning triangle to alert other road users.
1. | Loosen the wheel nuts. |
2. | Wind up the jack and raise the car. |
3. | Remove the wheel nuts then remove the wheel. |
4. | Place the new wheel in position and put the wheel nuts back tightening them first by hand. |
5. | Lower the car and use the wheel wrench to tighten the nuts properly. |
And that's it, you're done! Now you can go and stock up on food supplies for the next few weeks.
