SUPA QUICK COVID-19 COMMUNICATION

News - 20 March 2020

Following the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus in the country and hygiene being a big concern, we want to assure all our valued customers that Supa Quick cares about your health and well-being, which is why we are ensuring that all our stores practice heightened hygiene protocols to ensure the safety of every person visiting our stores.

Every staff member has to practice precautionary measures as stipulated by the World Health Organization, such as washing hands on a regular basis for at least 20 seconds and ensuring that high contact areas are thoroughly and frequently deep cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day.

Should a staff member show signs of not being well, they will be sent home immediately and instructed to seek medical attention.

We have put up posters in all our stores as a constant reminder on how to act during this time and to educate our staff on how to identify symptoms, what to do should they fall ill and what preventative measures to take to protect themselves and everyone around them.

We are confident that the measures we have put in place are stringent and adhere to the guidelines provided by the NICD, but should a case be confirmed from one of our stores, that store will be closed immediately to ensure no further infections occur, thorough sanitization will be implemented and we will follow the guidance from the local health authorities before reopening.

Our stores remain open for business within our regular trading hours and we are here to provide our full services. We continue to monitor the fluidity of the situation and are implementing changes as things progress in the country to ensure the environment in our stores aids in the prevention of the spread.

Remember to wash your hands regularly and keep social distancing where possible to keep yourself and the community around you safe!
